Premium Edition™ IJ Top Coat

Product Description:

IJ Top Coat is a water-based non-yellowing coating with ultra violet inhibitors for the protection of non water sensitive ink jet images. Application of IJ Top Coat will dramatically increase apparent color saturation and texture of the image.

The coatings are highly flexible and enhance the durability of the image. For outdoor or indoor applications that are subject to high levels of sunlight we strongly recommend the use of pigment inks systems.

IJ Top Coat can be applied by roller, spray or liquid laminator.

Shelf Life:

IJ Top Coat has a shelf life of 12 months after shipment from IJ Technologies, when stored under controlled environmental conditions.

Ink Compatibility:

IJ Top Coat is compatible with all aqueous pigment ink systems on water-resistant media.

IJ Top Coat can also be applied (by spray only) over dye inks and on non water-resistant media by applying an initial, very light, sealing coat followed by a conventional coat.

Dye inks should not be used for outdoor applications.

Storage and Use:

We recommend that the materials be stored in environmentally controlled conditions, and that all opened containers be tightly sealed. IJ Top Coat must never be left in freezing conditions.
